I just found a great new-to-me site thanks to 5 Minutes for Mom’s Ultimate Blog Party. It’s called The Opinionated Parent, and it has excellent reviews of books, toys, kid gear and everything else and constant give-aways of stuff I would actually want. Since I may as well rename this blog The Picky Parent, that’s saying something. I’ve already added items I found there to my Amazon wish list and knitting-to-get-to-work-on list. Look at these adorable eggs! I had seen the pattern before and intended to make some, but I forgot about it. This time, I have it printed and ready to go. I know at least one of my faithful readers will be very into TOP. You know who you are.

I love the Rainbow Silk Fairy Skirt too! Sarah’s Silks are great. You know I’m all about gender-neutrality, but even I can’t let him wear one. Purple Tevas and fairy wings, yes.
